Camp FAQ’s

Who can attend Justin’s Place 2025 summer camps?!

Camps are available to kiddos ages 5-13 with a diagnosis of a disability, disorder or those with early developmental trauma, in foster care, or who have been adopted. Due to our current facilities, campers must be able to walk on uneven terrain & walk up 3 steps. A disability or disorder diagnosis must be listed on your Physician Form.

What types of things will my child be doing?

Justin’s Place offers hands-on learning with a variety of barnyard animals, learning games and sensory activities. Kiddos will enjoy free play time in outdoor spaces. More details will be provided for campers prior to start date. Typically, campers rotate through stations including riding or hands-on activities with a horse, sensory play, snack time, equine learning and more!

What should we bring to camp?

All campers need to bring a packed lunch or snack, water bottle and snack with their name on it. If your child has severe or anaphylactic allergies, please provide any emergency medications needed. Kids are welcome to bring any fidget or comfort items needed. Justin’s Place does not assist with toileting needs. If you’re kiddo wears pull ups, we ask that you stay within 15 minutes of our property to assist if needed. If your child may need toileting assistance, there are a few great places in town to hang close by! Check out Subway, Solomon’s Porch and and Drinklings.

What is the parent involvement in camp?

If you feel it would be in your child’s best interest to participate in camp with them, we allow parent involvement for parents who have completed our online training.
